Our Mission is to identify the need, whether it be emotional, physical, mental or spiritual, and provide assistance, referrals and tools for Service Members, Veterans and their Families to live purposeful lives.
Furthermore, we offer meeting space for our collaborative partners, host, attend and facilitate workshops/seminars in surrounding counties; and provide emergency assistance, clothing and toiletries for homeless Veterans.
We provide resiliency classes for Service Members, Veterans, their families and caregivers, assisting them with valuable communication skills that identify triggers and red flags post-deployment regardless of war eras.
College prep program (scholarships research and planning) is conducted in our Dollars for Scholars, for students grades 6-11. This program provides information, community service projects, interview techniques and networking with professionals and corporations.
A third facet of The Inspiration Center is our Counseling, Case Management and Group Therapy.
This is a partnership with Texas Suicide Prevention Collaborative to provide Veterans and their Families with awareness training for coping skills, post-traumatic stress disorder, suicide awareness and peer to peer relationship building.
Center keeps classes smaller to have more of a personal interaction for peer buddies.
